Hudson Stuck papers, 1902-1920.

The Hudson Stuck Papers contain manuscripts for three of Stuck's books ("The Ascent of Denali," "Ten Thousand Miles on a Dog-Sled," and "Summer Cruises on Alaskan Rivers"); a small amount of correspondence concerning their publication; and copies of Stuck's diary for 1912-1913 titled "Journal of Archdeacon Hudson Stuck Recording Ascent of Mt. Denali (Mt. McKinley), June 1913."

Hudson Stuck (1863-1920), Episcopal minister and author, completed his religious training and was ordained in 1892. He became archdeacon of the Yukon and published numerous articles in the "Spirit of Missions" and began publishing his own "Alaska Mission of the Episcopal Church".
